This delightful lodge is a home away from home and an ideal choice for families and friends to enjoy local attractions and walks right on your doorstep. Altham is a quiet village in the borough of Hyndburn, Lancashire. The Lodge is situated on a working farm (Horses and Chickens, Goats, Ducks and vegetables) known as Houghton Barn Farmhouse, and Terence, Maria and family all reside on the 4 acres, though privacy of the guests is respected at all times.

Entering the property from the wrap around decking you will find a cosy lounge with plenty of space for everyone! Benefitting from contemporary sofas, a 75INC television and a two modern wood burner. This really sets the scene for a family night in or a place to rest and plan your days activities.
Through to the next room you will find a a day room which provide a cosy lounge / dining area which then leads onto the Bedroom 2 which is accessed through the heavy curtains. A good-sized kitchen where there is plenty of space to prepare those home cooked meals.
A modern and spacious bathroom benefitting from a walk-in shower, low level WC and pedestal wash hand basin. The master bedroom consists of a modern double bed with TV at the bottom and two bed side tables. The cinema room is the heart of the lodge, benefiting from a 75 inch TV and a sofa perfect for a movie night or place to rest of your feet after a day exploring!
Outside to the front of the lodge you benefit from a spacious enclosed decked area and enough parking space for two cars. Stunning scenery overlooking Pendle hill and fields of livestock.
The lodge also has exclusive access to the woodfired Hot Tub overlooking Pendle Hill as well as a wooden Barrelled Sauna.
